According to the lawsuit, Don’t Let Belgrade Drown caused material damage to Milenijum Team by reducing the value of the company's trademark in the amount of 100 thousand euros, which is the amount the company is seeking in damages. The immediate reason for these claims by the company contracted to build Belgrade Waterfront, and numerous other state projects, is the publication of a text on changing the urban plan which allows this company to demolish the Goša Research and Development Institute and build a residential and business complex on the site.

Expropriation law, lithium mining, referendum law, and the corrupted state of violence have been the main topics lately in Serbia. Thousands of people protested in smaller and bigger places around the country on 27th of November. Violence in the cities of Novi Sad and Zrenjanin escalated, while those in Šabac were confronted not only by policemen’s batons but also sticks, baggers, and even attacked by hammers. The violent hooligans have been proclaimed as ,,citizens… who continued their journey to Belgrade…(for) celebration of the anniversary of the founding of the SNS (Serbian Progressive Party)’’ by pro-government media.

At the press conference, Ne davimo Beograd movement and Zajedno za Srbiju presented the proposal for cooperation between opposition parties and organizations, called The Road towards Victory.

On October 2nd, activists from the Serbian Progressive Party tried to sabotage the holding of a neighborhood discussion and film screening in Karaburma, organized by Ne davimo Beograd (Don’t Let Belgrade (D)rown). The Progressives, in their well-known style, set up their own stands at the same time and in the same place as our event. Although the public event was reported to the competent days in advance, and the police have an obligation to protect reported rallies, they refused to react to allow the event to take place without interference.

After the Environmental Protection Agency published a report on the state of air quality in Serbia for 2020, it is obvious that there has been no progress in solving this problem over the last five years. Namely, for the fifth year in a row, the air quality in Belgrade is categorized in the worst, third category.

If the election conditions were ten times better than in 2012, we would not be holding an inter-party dialogue under the mediation of MEPs, Radomir Lazović from Ne davimo Beograd movement stated for Danas, responding to the claims made by the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, tonight at a special press conference.

The Ne davimo Beograd Movement has once again come under fire from regime tabloids for insisting on publishing accurate and timely information about the fire at the Vinča landfill. As incredible as it sounds, the Serbian Telegraph, Informer, Alo and TV Pink all published the news that the fire in Vinča was most likely an act of arson, and that the arsonists were none other than…Ne davimo Beograd and European Green Party MEP, Viola von Kramon, who is on a two-day visit to Belgrade!

The construction company "Millenijum tim" has sued Dobrica Veselinović material damages in the amount of 12 million dinars, for opinions and statements expressed during a guest appearance on the N1 channel. The appearance on the N1 channel, which triggered this second lawsuit, was made to discuss the previous lawsuit filed by this company against the movement Ne davimo Beograd, which was filed because we published a text about changes to the urban plan which would allow this company to demolish the Goša Research and Development Institute, in order to construct a residential and business complex on the site.

The Ne davimo Beograd Women's group is part of the Independent Women's Group, composed of representatives of women's organizations, civic initiatives and socially engaged individuals, which held a rally in support of women and girls from Jagodina who are potential victims of sexual exploitation on Saturday, June 5, at the People's Youth Square in Jagodina. Through direct action in the field, we sent a joint message to potential victims that they are not alone in this process, and that they are guaranteed assistance and support by law without having to reveal their identity and participate in the investigation and court proceedings.
