Charter for a good city
Support to Ne davimo Beograd movement
This is an invitation to support Ne davimo Beograd movement in the fight to make Belgrade ours, make it free and GOOD, with your signature.
Ne davimo Beograd has shown commitment towards public interest over the years of fighting. Behind us is a large number of actions, protests, legal proceedings, complaints, public debates, or neighborly discussions. We stood up to hooligans and arrogant thugs when necessary, and raised our voices against injustice to stop crimes, thefts, plundering, sell-offs, evictions, pollution, and felling. We were always in places of misdoings, Savamala, Vinča, Košutnjak, Savski nasip, in parks, on construction sites, in front of the Government, the National Assembly, municipal police, courts, with comrades at Stara planina, in Niš, Zrenjanin, Novi Sad, Blace, Jagodina, Valjevo or Požega.
The plan for a GOOD CITY is a set of solutions that are supposed to return the management of Belgrade to the citizens and make Belgrade a just, solidary, and green city in which those who are vulnerable, poor, scared, or helpless right now would feel good as well.
A good city is a city in which all those who live in it have the main say, and not corrupt party cliques, suspicious investors, or organized criminals.
Ne davimo Beograd has been fighting for years to give the control back to the citizens, and it will fight for administrative decentralization and territorial reorganization of Belgrade. Decision-making and public resources management must be relevant to the citizens and in their interest.
A good city is a city for everyone, for those who live in it, work in it, study in it, or are just passing through. Equal rules and equal care for everyone, regardless of political beliefs, wealth, age, nationality, sexual orientation, or religion, are the principles Ne davimo Beograd consistently applies in its work, and will fight for their respect on all levels of city life organization, from public utility companies, kindergartens and schools, to institutions and authorities.
A good city is a just and solidary city in which no one’s rights and life prospects depend exclusively on material conditions. There are no redundant or homeless people in a good city, and that is why the first concern must be support and help for the most vulnerable. Everyone can live in it undisturbed, have living wages, and have job security based on labor rights. Kindergartens, schools, quality education, or efficient public transportation have to be equally accessible to everyone. None of it is difficult to achieve nor is it too expensive, and Ne davimo Beograd suggested how.
A good city is a green city, not a city that sells forests, shores, rivers, and public goods so that the eligible ones can earn selfishly. Ne davimo Beograd is fighting for water, air, green areas, and areas for enjoyment and recreation as common goods to be available to citizens and remain so for future generations.
In Ne davimo Beograd program, solutions for the improvement of our city have been elaborated in detail, and the movement has gathered a large number of people who are ready to dedicate their knowledge, energy, and time to it. We will soon face a new challenge. If the election conditions are satisfactory, we will nominate our policy for a good city. We have the right to optimism, without it being unfounded. The results of the elections in Belgrade may be the most important step in replacing the regime that has occupied our country. That is why we invite you to free our city together, put a stop to all harmful projects and build a GOOD CITY for future generations and us.
Your support for us means encouragement to continue down this road, and we would be happy if it meant to you even more, a willingness to participate and contribute to common goals.

Lazovic to attend EP session: I expect them to call for rerun of Serbian elections
MP of the opposition Green-Left Front Radomir Lazovic said that, in its resolution on the Serbian elections, he expects the European Parliament (EP) to voice its position that elections must be repeated at all levels in Serbia, especially in Belgrade, where the opposition was robbed of its clear victory.
We Demand Responsibility and Restraint in Solving the Crisis in the North of Kosovo
We call for responsibility and restraint in solving the crisis in the north of Kosovo, in the Banjska monastery, so that the conflict does not escalate or lead to a new tragedy. We condemn provocations and violence from any side, and demand a thorough investigation.
