The movement Ne davimo Beograd congratulates their friends from the coalition Možemo! (We can) on great results achieved in local elections across Croatia. We paid special attention to the great victory that our colleagues and friends achieved in the city of Zagreb, where they will be able to take power and responsibility for the future of their city. Congratulations to Tomislav Tomašević, who almost secured the victory for mayor in the first round, and succeeded to do so in the second with a significant majority (63%).
Time has come for a wave of left-green changes to occur in our region and in our societies. Ne davimo Beograd, as well as our friends from the coalition Možemo! fight for the public interest, preservation and improvement of public goods, climate justice, preservation of the environment and energy transition and sustainable mobility. We also aim at stopping corruption and crime, to genuinely improve the living conditions of fellow citizens.
What started in Montenegro where the Civic Movement URA achieved significant results, and continued in Zagreb with the great victory of the coalition Možemo! obliges us to bring this wave of green-left changes in Belgrade as well.
